Using the player under strong fluorescent lighting, in a car, near a TV or magnetic object may affect video quality. • Be sure to remove the disc, turn off the player, and remove the battery pack after use. • If used near a broadcast station or power transmission tower, the video may become distorted due to interference. • Do not drop the player or subject it to strong vibration or shock.

Remove the battery pack from the DVD player after every use. 2. When not using the DVD player, turn off the power. ENGLISH Troubleshooting Symptom Check No picture No sound • Check that the LCD display is turned on. Distorted video or sound • Use a disc without scratches or dents. While in the input mode, no picture is output from the external component to the DVD player • Check that the video or audio cable is securely connected. DVD Battery Pack operation • Check the volume setting. If set to zero, turn up volume level. • Check that the headphones are plugged into the ”B” jack.
ENGLISH Car Power Adapter I How to use the adapter • Use it as a power supply for your DVD player (See the illustration to the right.) 1. Plug the power plug of the power adapter into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter. (Be sure to use it with the vehicle’s engine turned on.) 2. Connect the connector of the power adapter cable to the power inlet on your DVD player. 3. Use it only after your DVD player is turned on.
