| Connecting to a TV with a DVl Jack Using an HDMkDVI cable (not included), connect the HDMI OUT terminal on the rear of the DVD Recorder to the DVI iN terminal of your TV. An HDMI to DVl connection requires a separate audio connection. Using the audio cables, connect the AUDIO (red and white) OUT terminals on the rear of the DVD Recorder to the AUDIO (red and white) IN terminals of your TV. Turn on the DVD Recorder and TV. Videos with copy protection cannot be recorded on this DVD Recorder. When the DVD Recorder receives a copy guard signal while recording, recording stops and the following message appears on the screen. Concerning Copy Control Signals TV broadcasts that contain copy control signals may have one of the following three signal types, COPY-Free, Copy-Once and Copy-Never. If you want to record a copy-once type program, use a DVD-RW disc with CPRM in VR Mode. You can also use DVD-RAM discs.
