Alter all connections arc complete, plug the power cord
in the wall outlet.
"AUTO' in the front pand display flickers. This means that
the current time is being set automatically (Auto Program)
through the antenna under connection. The setup may take
several lninu tes.
When it normally operates, the current time is automatically
set and displayed in the front panel displa}:
If "- - - -" appears, how(wer, it means that auto time setting
has failed.
In that case, set the current time through the lnanual clock
set, as sho_vaa in pages 25-26.

Install Batteries in the Remote Control
Open the battery cover on the back of the remote.
Insert two AAA hatteries. Make sure that tile polarities
(+ and -) arc aligned correctl?_
Replace the hatte D"cover.
If the remow does not operate properly:
Check the polarity + - of tile hatteries (D_'-Cell)
Check if the hatteries an' drained.
Check if the remote sensor is hlocked by obstacles.
Check if then' is ally fluorescent lighting nearb}:
Dispose of batteries according to local environmen-
tal regulations. Do not put them in the household
trash.
