Setting the display and sound
Learn how to change the basic display and sound settings.
Setting the sound
Set whether your camera emits a specified sound when you
operate your camera.

In Shooting or Playback mode, press [ ].

Select Sound → Beep Sound → an option.
Options Description
Off
The camera does not emit any sounds.

The camera emits one of three sounds, depending
on the option you select.
Changing the display type
Select a display type for Shooting or Playback mode. Each type
displays different shooting or playback information.
Press [ ] repeatedly to change a display type.
Show all photographic
information.
Modes Display Type Choices
Shooting
• Display all information about shooting
• Hide information about shooting, except the
available number of photos (or available recording
time) and the battery icon
Playback
• Display all information about the current photo
• Hide all information about the current file
• Display information about the current file, except the
shooting settings and captured date
