Calendars: View the current Calendar accounts.
Settings: Display a list of configurable settings.
Creating a Calendar Event
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

Calendar.
2. Within the Year, Month, Week, and Day tabs, tap Create event to create a new Calendar event.
Enabling the Handwriting Mode
Edit the Calendar using hand‑written information.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps
g
Calendar.
2. Tap Handwriting mode.
3. Use the following functions:
Write or draw.
Erase marks and drawings.
Undo the last action.
Redo the last action that was undone.
Exit the current action and returns to the Calendar application.
Save the current updates.
Calendar Settings
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps
g
Calendar.
2. Tap Menu
g
Settings.
3. Tap the View settings tab for options:
First day of week: Choose Locale default , Saturday , Sunday , or Monday .
Hide declined events: Do not display declined events.
Lock time zone: Lock event times and dates to your selected time zone.
Select time zone: Set your time zone.
Show week number: Display week numbers.
Hide completed tasks: Do not display completed tasks.
Weather: Display weather information from AccuWeather.com .
4. Tap the Event notification tab for options:
Set alerts and notifications: Adjust the event notification method. Choose Alert, Status bar notification, or Off.
Select ringtone: Assign a ringtone to this event notification.
Vibration: Assign a vibration notification to this event.
Quick responses: Edit your default quick responses for outbound emails.
Camera
You can use the camera or camcorder to take and share pictures and videos.
Taking pictures with your device's built‑in camera is as simple as choosing a subject, pointing the camera, then
pressing the camera key.
Important! Do not take photos of people without their permission.
Do not take photos in places where cameras are not allowed.
Do not take photos in places where you may interfere with another person’s privacy.

Take a Picture
You can take pictures with your device's front or back camera, or combine shots with Dual mode.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps
g
Camera.
2. Using the device's screen as a viewfinder, compose your shot by aiming the camera at the subject. While
composing your picture, use the onscreen options, or these gestures:
Press the Volume Key up or down to zoom in or out, or touch the screen with two fingers and pinch or
spread them on the screen to zoom in or out.
Tap the screen to focus on the area you touched.
3. Tap to take the picture.
