Sharing Pictures and Video
You can share pictures and videos via Email, Messaging, Bluetooth, or popular sharing services.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

Gallery.
2. Touch an album to display preview.
3. Tap Menu

Select item, and then touch previews to mark them forsharing.
4. Touch Share via and follow the prompts.
Setting a Picture as a Contact Photo
Set a picture as a contact’s photo. The contact’s photo displays with notifications to calls or messages from the
contact.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

Gallery.
2. Tap a category, and then select a picture to select it.
3. Tap Menu

Set as

Contact photo.
4. Select a contact, or create a new contact, with the selected picture as the contact’s photo.
Setting a Picture as Wallpaper
Set a picture as the wallpaper for the Home and Lock screens.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

Gallery.
2. Tap a category, and then select a picture to select it.
3. Tap Menu

Set as.
4. Select an option, from Home screen, Lock screen, or Home and lock screens wallpaper. Use the crop tool
to edit the picture. Tap Done.
Gmail
Send and receive emails via Gmail, Google’s web‑based email.

Use Google Search to search the Web.

Google and enter the search text.
Google Now
Google Now recognizes repeated actions performed on the device (including accessing locations, repeated
calendar appointments, search queries, and more). Google Now uses these actions to automatically send updates
for user‑specific information in the form of “cards.”
For more information, visit google.com/landing/now.
Note: You must be signed in to your Google Account to use Google Now. If not, tapping GoogleNow will
launch a basic Google search.
1. From a Home screen, tap the Google search field.
2. Follow the instructions to set up and use Google Now.
Note: When Google Now is enabled, you can also access it bytapping Apps

Google Settings
As Google has become more intertwined with other applications, this menu provides a quick and ready access
point to configure preferences for Google+, Maps & Latitude, Location, and so on. You can also use the Search
function to initiate a Google Search from this menu.

2. Select one of the available onscreen options.
3. Follow the onscreen prompts.
Google+
Stay connected and share life as it happens with Google+. Chat with friends and family, post photos, or see what
others are sharing while you’re on the go.

Note: This app requires a Google Account.

Group Play
This application lets you share documents, photos or music in real‑time with other connected friends.
Note: Group play is not the same as Screen mirroring which requires a connection to a Wi-Fi capable Samsung
TV or via the use of the AllShare Cast Hub.
Important! To share via Group Play, all users must be connected to the same Wi-Fi access point.

Hangouts
Previously known as Google Talk, Hangouts is an online placeto meet friends and family, share photos, and host
video calls.
