Maps
Find your current location, get directions and traffic reports, discover local businesses and attractions, and much
more. Visit google.com/maps/about/explore/mobile to learn more.
Important! Google Maps requires an active data network or Wi-Fi connection. Some features require that one or
more location services be enabled.
From a Home screen, tap Apps

Messages
This application allows you to use the Short Message Service (SMS) to send and receive short text messages to
and from other mobile devices. You can also use the Multi Media Service (MMS) to create multimedia messages to
send and receive from other mobile devices.
From a Home screen, tap Apps

Mobile HotSpot
Provides access to the Tethering and Mobile HotSpot menu where you can use either the USB tethering or
portable HotSpot functionality.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

2. Activate the desired connection method.

Music
The Music Player is an application that can play music files. Launching the Music Player allows you to navigate
through your music library, play songs, and create playlists (music files bigger than 300 KB are displayed).
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

2. Music Player scans for songs stored in phone memory, or on an installed memory card and displays your
songs on the Songs, Playlists, Albums, Artists, and Folders tabs.
3. Touch a music file to begin playback. During playback, use the sound and playlist controls:
AllShare: Select a device to use for sharing music files.
Volume: Tap to activate onscreen volume control, and then touch and drag on
the scale to set volume, or press the Volume Key on the side of the phone to
adjust playback volume.
Tap to view the SoundAlive equalizer.
Shuffle: When enabled, songs play in random order. When disabled, songs play
in the order they appear in List view.
Repeat All: Tap to play all songs, an album, or playlist.
Repeat 1: Tap to repeat the current song, album, or playlist in a loop.
List: Tap to switch to a list of all songs.
Playlist: Tap to display the current playlist.
FFWD: Tap to advance to the next song. Touch andhold to scan forward
through the currentsong.
RWD Tap to go back to the previous song. Touch andhold to scan
backward through the current song.
Pause: Tap to pause playback.
Play: Tap to resume playback.
Creating a Playlist
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

Playlists.
2. Tap Create playlist. Enter a name for the playlist and tap OK.
3. Tap Add song next to a song to add it to the playlist, or tap Add all.
4. Tap Done.
