Display Settings
Configure settings for your tablet’s display.
Brightness
Adjust the screen brightness to suit your surroundings, or to your personal preference.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

2. Tap Automatic brightness to allow the tablet to adjust the brightness based on your surroundings.

To set a custom brightness level, clear the Automatic brightness checkmark and then slide the Brightness
level bar to set your preferred brightness level.
Screen Timeout
From a Home screen, tap Apps

Touch Key Light Duration
Set the length of time the Menu Key and Back Key remain lit after you touch them.

Screen Mode
Optimize the display for the content being viewed.

Screen mode for
options:
Adapt display: Tap the check box to enable or disable automatic optimization of the screen to match the
type of image being displayed and other criteria, such as battery level.
When Adapt display is disabled, select a specific screen mode to match the content being displayed:
Dynamic: Make the display tone more vivid.
Standard: Use this mode for normal surroundings.
Cinema: Use this mode for dim surroundings, such as in a darkroom.
Reading Mode
Optimize the screen for reading from selected applications.

2. Tap OFF/ON to enable Reading mode.
3. Tap Edit for additional options.
Daydream
The Daydream setting controls what the screen displays when the tablet is docked, or while charging. You can
choose to display a Colors screen, or display photos stored on your tablet.

2. Tap ON/OFF to turn the feature on.
3. Configure options:
Colors: Display screen full of colors.
Desk home screen: Adjust items from the home screen. Tap to adjust home screen items.
Flipboard: Display pictures from Flipboard. Tap to choose pictures to display.
Google Photos: Display pictures from Google Photos. Tap to congfigure the Photos images.
Photo frame: Display pictures in a photo frame. Tap to choose pictures to display.
Photo table: Display pictures in a photo table. Tap to choose pictures to display.
4. Tap Preview to preview Daydream mode. Tap the screen to cancel.
Show Battery Percentage
The battery charge level displays as an icon on the Status bar by default. This option displays the battery icon plus
the percentage of remaining battery charge.

Edit After Screen Capture
Automatically open screen captures for editing.

Multi Window
Configure options for the Multi window feature. Tap this option to enable/disable the automatic Multi window
feature.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps

Device tab.
2. In a single motion touch and slide the Multi window slider to the right to turn it on.
3. Tap the Open in multi widow view function to enable/disable the ability to view content in the Multi window
