Wi-Fi Settings
Wi-Fi is a wireless networking technology that provides
access to local area networks.
For more information about using your tablet’s Wi-Fi
features, see “Wi-Fi” on page 84.
Wi-Fi Direct
Wi-Fi Direct allows devices to connect to each other directly
via Wi-Fi, without a Wi-Fi network or hotspot, and without
having to set up the connection.

Bluetooth
Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communications
technology for exchanging information over a distance of
about 30 feet.

Data Usage
Monitor data usage, and control your tablet’s connection to
mobile data service.
Note:
Data is measured by your tablet. Your service provider
may account for data usage differently.

connection to mobile data service.

When disabled, you will not be able to use the Internet, sync
email, or use any app that requres a data connection unless
you are connected to a Wi-Fi network.
