Kies via Wi-Fi
Samsung Kies is a software that enables you to update your
device firmware, synchronize files, and transfer data to and
from your device directly by connecting to the PC. Kies via
Wi-Fi allows you to access Samsung Kies using a Wi-Fi
network.

1. From a Home screen, touch
2. Select the source of the Wi-Fi connection for Kies air.

Home screen mode
Home screen mode allows you to set your display to the
conventional layout of
Basic mode or provide an easier user
experience for the first-time tablet users using
Easy mode .
1. From the Home screen, touch
Settings  Home
screen mode

2. Tap the pull-down dropbox and select one of the
following options:
•Basic mode : provides conventional layout for the apps and
widgets on your home screens.
•Easy mode : provides easier user experience for first-time
tablet users on the home screens.
3. Tap Apply .
Blocking Mode
When enabled, notifications for selected features are
disabled.
1. From a Home screen, touch

Disable notifications to enable this feature.
A check mark
appears in the check box when
Disable notifications is On.
4. Touch
Disable alarm to enable this feature.
A check mark
appears in the check box when
Disable alarm is On.

Set time option allows you to set Blocking mode for
a specific time range or
Always .
6. Touch the
Always field to disable it or configure the
From and To time fields. A check mark appears in
the check box when Disable alarm and timer is On.
