Setting up user profiles
Set up user profiles and then select one when unlocking the device to use personalised
settings. By setting up multiple user profiles, several users can share the device without
affecting others’ personal settings, such as email accounts, wallpaper preferences, and more.
On the Applications screen, tap
Settings
General
Users
OK
Set up now

and then follow the on-screen instructions to set up a new user profile. To access the device
with a user profile, select a profile at the top right of the locked screen.
Transferring files
Move audio, video, image, or other types of files from the device to the computer, or vice
versa.
The following file formats are supported by some applications. Some file formats are
not supported depending on the version of the device’s software or the computer
operating system.

Music: mp3, m4a, 3ga, aac, ogg, oga, wav, wma, amr, awb, flac, midi, mid, xmf,
mxmf, imy, rtttl, rtx, and ota

Image: bmp, gif, jpg, and png
•
Video: avi, wmv, asf, flv, mkv, mp4, 3gp, webm, and m4v
•
Document: txt, rtf, doc, dot, docx, dotx, show, hsdt, htheme, pptx, ppt, thmx, potx,
cell, xls, xlt, xlsx, prn, tsv, csv, xlsm, xlst, and pdf
If the applications cannot play files in divx or ac3 format, install applications that
support them.
