Section 10: Applications
Books
Google eBooks is a new way to discover, buy, and enjoy your
favorite books online and offline.
䊳 From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔ Books .
Browser
Your device includes a full HTML Browser, to access the internet.
For more information about using Browser, see “Browser” on
page 40.
䊳 From the Home screen, touch Browser .
Calculator
Use your device’s Calculator to perform mathematical
calculations.
䊳 From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔
Calculator .
Calendar
Record events and appointments to manage your schedule.
Tip: A Calendar widget is available in Widgets. For more information about
placing widgets on the Home screen, see “Widgets” on page 19.
1. From the Home screen, touch Apps ➔
Calendar .
2. Touch Day , Week , or Month in the Application bar to choose
a calendar view.
3. Touch Menu for options:
•Refresh : Synchronize your device’s calendar with your Google
account.
• Settings : Configure General preferences, and set synchronization
for accounts you have set up on the device, or to add an account to
your device.
• Hide controls/Show controls : Choose whether to display
navigation controls.
4. Use other tools in the Application bar:
• Touch Home to return to the current date.
• Touch Search to return to the current date.
• Touch Add to create a new event.
