General
Vibrate
When enabled, your device vibrates to alert you to messages
and other events.
1. From the Home screen, touch
Apps ➔
Settings ➔ Sound .
2. Touch
Vibrate to choose a vibrate mode.
Volume
Set default volume for notifications, media playback, alarms,
and system notifications.
Note: You can also set System volume from the Home screen
by pressing the Volume Key .
1. From the Home screen, touch
Apps ➔
Settings ➔ Sound ➔ Volume .
2. Touch and drag the slider to set
Notification volume.
3. Touch and drag the slider to set
Media volume.
4. Touch and drag the slider to set
Alarm volume.
5. Touch and drag the slider to set
System volume.
6. Touch
OK to save your setting.
Vibration intensity
Set the intensity of vibration feedback for Notifications and
Haptic feedback for screen touches
To enable Haptic feedback, see “Haptic feedback” on
page 103.
1. From the Home screen, touch
Apps ➔
Settings ➔ Sound ➔ Vibration intensity .
2. Touch and drag the slider to set the strength of the
vibration for Notifications and Haptic feedback.
3. Touch
OK to save your setting.
