DictionariesNOOK
Your NOOK includes
Merriam‑Webster’s Collegiate
®
Dictionary, Eleventh Edition. You
can download and install free
foreign‑language dictionaries as
well. Only one dictionary can be
active at a time.
To download a foreign language, make sure your
NOOK is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Download Dictionaries
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
NOOKSettings.
2. Tap Reader > Dictionary.
3. Tap Download beside the language you want to
add.
4. Once the dictionary has been downloaded, tap it
to select it as the active dictionary.
Remove Dictionaries
To remove a dictionary:
1. From a Home screen, tap
Apps >
NOOKSettings.
2. Tap Reader > Dictionary.
3. Tap Remove beside the language you want to
remove.
