Volume settings
Set the volume level for all types of sounds.
1. From the Home screen, touch ➔ Settings ➔ Sound
settings .
2. Touch Volume .
Note: You can only set volume when Silent Mode is disabled.
3. Touch and drag the sliders to set:
• Media volume : Playback of music, videos and other multimedia
content.
• Alarm volume : Notifications for alarms set in Clock.
• System volume : Application sounds, and other sounds made by
your device.
• Notification volume : Sounds for alerts to new messages and other
events.
4. Touch OK to save your setting.
Setting a Notification Ringtone
1. From the Home screen, touch ➔ Settings ➔ Sound
settings ➔ Notification ringtone .
2. Touch one of the ringtones and touch OK .
Audible selection
The Audible selection option is used when you make a screen
selection. Each time you press a key or make a selection the
selected tone sounds.
1. From the Home screen, touch ➔ Settings ➔
Sound settings .
2. Touch Audible touch tones or Audible selection . A check
mark displayed next to these features indicates
active status.
Screen Lock Sounds
This option plays a sound when you lock or unlock the tablet’s
screen.
1. From the Home screen, touch ➔ Settings ➔
Sound settings .
2. Touch Screen lock sounds . A checkmark indicates
activation.
