The speakerphone feature is automatically activated when •
a call is connected. To avoid damage to your hearing,
do not hold the device close to your ear while using the
speakerphone.
You can make or answer calls with the supplied headset or an •
optional Bluetooth headset.
While using a headset, avoid hearing damage by using only the
lowest volume setting necessary to hear your call. Continual
exposure to loud sounds can damage your hearing.
Activate calling functions
You must activate calling functions to make and answer calls, use available
options during a call, and customise call-related features.
In Menu mode, select

Voice Enabled to activate the calling functions.

In Menu mode, select Phone
Dialer, and enter an area code and a
phone number.

Call to make a voice call.
For a video call, select Video call.
View a text or multimedia message

In Menu mode, select Messaging.
Your messages are grouped by contact and are displayed as a message
thread.
Select a contact.

Select a text or multimedia message from the message thread.

Listen to voice mail messages
If you have set missed calls to be diverted to the voice mail server, callers
may leave voice messages when you do not answer incoming calls. To
access your voice mail inbox and listen to voice mail messages,

Dialer and then tap and hold .
Follow the instructions from the voice mail server.

You must save the voice mail server number before accessing the
server. Your service provider can give you the number.
