Mobile AP
Learn about the Mobile AP feature, which sets your device
as an wireless AP (Access Point) to connect to the internet
on other network devices.
In Menu mode, select

Settings
→
Connectivity
→
Mobile AP.
Select

Mobile AP on the top to activate the Mobile
AP feature.
Select

Settings to customise the Mobile AP feature:
Option Function
Name
View and edit the device name that
will be shown to external devices.
Password
View or edit the network key to
prevent unauthorised access to the
network.
Hide my
device
Block other devices from locating your
device.

Play les of one device on the other
device
In Menu mode, select

Settings
→
Connectivity
→
AllShare.
Select

next to Play le from server on another
player via my phone.
Your device automatically searches for DLNA-enabled
devices.
Select a device as the media server—the one that

contains media les.
Select a media category and a le.

Select a player—the one that will play the media le.

Playback begins at the selected player.
Control playback using icons of your device.
