Charging the headset This headset has a rechargeable internal battery which is non-removable. Ensure that you fully charge the battery before using the headset for the first time. 1 Plug the small end of the travel adapter into the charger jack. 2 Plug the large end of the travel adapter into a power outlet. During charging, the indicator light will turn red. If charging does not begin, unplug the travel adapter and plug it in again.
English •• Use only a Samsung-approved travel adapter. Unauthorised travel adapters may cause an explosion or damage to the headset. •• The battery will gradually wear out while charging or discharging because it is a consumable part. •• When a call come in while charging, disconnect your headset from the travel adapter and answer the call. When the battery charge gets low The headset beeps and the indicator light flashes red. Recharge the battery.
Wearing the headset Place the headset on your ear. Depending on what ear you are going to wear the headset, simply adjust the ear hook accordingly. ▲ Left ▲ Right Handle the headset properly to improve performance •• Do not block the device’s internal antenna. The human body can interfere with a Bluetooth signal. •• If you usually use your mobile phone with your right hand, wear the headset on your right ear.
English Using your headset This section explains how to turn the headset on, pair and connect to the phone, and use various functions. •• Activated functions and features may differ depending on the phone type. •• Some devices, especially those that are not tested or approved by Bluetooth SIG, may be incompatible with your headset. Turning the headset on or off •• To turn the headset on, slide up the power switch. The blue indicator light flashes 4 times.
Pairing and connecting the headset Pairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices, such as a Bluetooth phone and a Bluetooth headset. To use the headset with other Bluetooth devices, the devices must be paired. When trying to pair the two devices, keep the headset and the phone reasonably close together. After pairing, you can connect the two devices. Pairing and connecting the headset with a phone 1 Enter Pairing mode.
English Your headset supports the Simple Pairing feature which allows the headset to be paired with a phone without requesting a PIN. This feature is available for phones that are compliant with Bluetooth version 2.1 or higher. The headset also can be paired via the Active pairing feature, see page 13. Connecting with two Bluetooth phones With the Multi-point feature activated, your headset can be connected with two Bluetooth phones at the same time.
When the headset connects to two Bluetooth phones, some phones may not connect to the headset as the second Bluetooth phone. Disconnecting the headset To disconnect the headset from your phone, •• Turn off the headset. •• Use the Bluetooth menu on your phone. Reconnecting the headset You can set the headset automatically to reconnect to the recently connected phones each time you turn it on. To reconnect to the two most recently connected phones Activate the Multi-point feature.
With the Active pairing feature, your headset can automatically search for a Bluetooth phone and try to make a connection with it. This feature is available for mobile phones, but the phone’s Bluetooth visibility option must be set to on. 1 Turn on the headset. 2 Press and hold the Talk button to enter Pairing mode. 3 Press and hold the Talk button until the violet indicator light turns on.
Using call functions Available call functions may vary by the phone. Making a call Redialling the last number Press the Talk button to redial the last number of the most recently connected phone. Press the Talk button twice to redial the last number of the other phone, see page 11. For some phones, pressing the Talk button opens the call log list. Press the Talk button again to dial the selected number. Dialling a number by voice Press and hold the Talk button and say a name.
Press the Talk button to answer a call when you hear incoming call tones. When two calls from the two connected phones come in, you can answer the call of the first phone. Ending a call Press the Talk button to end a call. Rejecting a call Press and hold the Talk button to reject a call when a call comes in. When two calls from the two connected phones come in, you can reject the call of the first phone. This function is available only on the Hands-Free profile.
Using options during a call You can use the following functions to control your call during a call. Adjusting the volume Press the Volume up or down button to adjust the volume. Muting the microphone Press and hold the Volume up or down button to turn the microphone off so that the person with whom you are speaking cannot hear you. When the microphone is turned off, the headset beeps at regular intervals. Press and hold the Volume up or down button again to turn the microphone back on.
•• Press the Talk button to end the first call and answer a second call of the same phone when you hear call waiting tones. •• Press and hold the Talk button to place the first call on hold and answer a second call of the same phone when you hear call waiting tones. •• To switch between the current call and the held call, press and hold the Talk button. This function is available only on the Hands-Free profile. For more information, see your phone’s user manual.
Appendix Frequently asked questions Will my headset work with laptops, PCs, and PDAs? Your headset will work with devices that support your headset's Bluetooth version and profiles. For specifications, see page 23. Why do I hear static or interference while on a call? Appliances such as cordless phones and wireless networking equipment may cause interference, which usually sounds like static. To reduce any interference, keep the headset away from other devices that use or produce radio waves.
When you pair your headset to your Bluetooth phone, you are creating a private link between only these two Bluetooth devices. The wireless Bluetooth technology used in your headset is not easily monitored by third parties because Bluetooth wireless signals are significantly lower in radio frequency power than those produced by a typical mobile phone. Why do I hear an echo while on a call? Adjust the headset volume, or move to another area and try again.
Warranty and parts replacement Samsung warrants this product as free of defects in material, design and workmanship for the period of one year from the original date of purchase.* If during the period of warranty this product proves defective under normal use and service you should return the product to the retailer from whom it was originally purchased or qualified service center.

Carga del auricular Este auricular tiene una batería interna recargable que no puede desmontarse. La luz indicadora se apagará después de que la luz indicadora azul cambie a rojo.
Vinculación y conexión del auricular La vinculación crea un vínculo inalámbrico codificado y único entre dos dispositivos Bluetooth, como un teléfono Bluetooth y un auricular Bluetooth. Para usar el auricular con otros dispositivos Bluetooth, deben vincularse los dispositivos. Cuando vincule los dos dispositivos, mantenga el auricular y el teléfono a una distancia razonable. Después de realizar la vinculación, puede conectar los dos dispositivos.

Apéndice Preguntas frecuentes ¿Funciona con ordenadores portátiles, PC y PDA? Funciona con dispositivos que son compatibles con la versión y los perfiles Bluetooth de su auricular. Carregar o auricular Este auricular tem uma bateria interna recarregável que não pode ser removida. Certifique-se de que carrega completamente a bateria antes de utilizar o auricular pela primeira vez. 1 Ligue a extremidade mais pequena do carregador de viagem na entrada do carregador. 2 Ligue a extremidade mais larga do adaptador de viagem a uma tomada eléctrica. Durante o carregamento, a luz do indicador está a vermelho.
3 Quando o auricular estiver completamente carregado, a luz indicadora fica azul. Desligue o carregador de viagem da tomada eléctrica e do auricular. •• Utilize apenas um adaptador de viagem aprovado pela Samsung. Utilizar o auricular Esta secção explica como ligar o auricular, emparelhar e ligar ao telemóvel e a utilizar as várias funções. •• As funções e funcionalidades activadas poderão variar consoante o tipo de telemóvel. •• Alguns dispositivos, nomeadamente aqueles que não foram testados ou aprovados pela Bluetooth SIG, podem ser incompatíveis com o auricular. •• Para ligar o auricular, deslize a tecla de ligar/desligar para cima. A luz azul do indicador pisca 4 vezes.
Emparelhar e ligar o auricular O emparelhamento irá criar uma ligação sem fios exclusiva e encriptada entre dois dispositivos Bluetooth, tais como um telemóvel Bluetooth e um auricular Bluetooth. Para utilizar o auricular com outros dispositivos Bluetooth, os dispositivos têm de estar emparelhados. Ao tentar emparelhar os dois dispositivos, mantenha o auricular e o telemóvel razoavelmente próximos. Após emparelhar, pode ligar os dois dispositivos.
O seu auricular suporta a funcionalidade Emparelhamento Simples que permite que o auricular possa ser emparelhado com um telemóvel sem pedir um PIN. Esta funcionalidade está disponível para telemóveis compatíveis com o Bluetooth versão 2.1 ou superior. O auricular pode também ser emparelhado através da função de Emparelhamento Activo, consulte a página 61.
6 Ligue-se novamente ao auricular a partir do primeiro telemóvel Bluetooth. Se o auricular se ligar a dois telemóveis Bluetooth, alguns telemóveis poderão não ligar-se ao auricular como segundo telemóvel Bluetooth. Desligar o auricular Para desligar o auricular do telemóvel: •• Desligue o auricular. •• Utilize o menu Bluetooth no seu telemóvel. Ligar novamente o auricular Pode definir que o auricular deve ligar-se de novo automaticamente aos últimos telemóveis ligados sempre que for ligado.
Emparelhar através da funcionalidade de emparelhamento activa Com a função de Emparelhamento Activo, o auricular pode procurar automaticamente um telemóvel Bluetooth e tentar ligar-se ao mesmo. Esta funcionalidade encontra-se disponível para telemóveis, mas a opção de visibilidade Bluetooth do telemóvel deverá estar definida para activada. Ligue o auricular. 2 Prima sem soltar a tecla Talk (falar) para entrar no modo de Emparelhamento.
Utilizar as funções de chamada As funções de chamada disponíveis podem variar conforme o telemóvel. Efectuar uma chamada Remarcar o último número Prima a tecla Talk (falar) para voltar a marcar o último número marcado no telemóvel mais recentemente ligado. Prima duas vezes a tecla Talk (falar) para voltar a marcar o último número marcado no outro telemóvel, consulte a página 59. Em alguns telefones, ao premir a tecla Talk (falar) é aberta a lista do registo de chamadas.
Atender uma chamada Prima a tecla Talk (falar) para atender uma chamada quando ouvir um som de chamada. Se receber duas chamadas nos dois telemóveis ligados e premir pode atender a chamada do primeiro telemóvel. Terminar uma chamada Prima a tecla Talk (falar) para terminar uma chamada. Rejeitar uma chamada Se receber duas chamadas nos dois telemóveis ligados pode rejeitar a chamada do primeiro telemóvel. Esta função apenas se encontra disponível no perfil Mãos-livres.
Utilizar opções durante uma chamada Pode utilizar as seguintes funções para controlar a sua chamada durante uma chamada. Regular o volume Prima a tecla de Volume para cima ou para baixo para regular o volume. Colocar o microfone em silêncio Prima sem soltar a tecla de Volume para cima/baixo para desligar o microfone de forma a que pessoa com quem está a falar não o possa ouvir. Com o microfone desligado, o auricular emite sons a intervalos regulares.
Atender uma segunda chamada •• Prima a tecla Talk (falar) para terminar a primeira chamada e atender uma segunda chamada no mesmo telemóvel ao ouvir um som de chamada em espera. •• Prima sem soltar a tecla Talk (falar) para colocar a primeira chamada em espera e atender uma segunda chamada no mesmo telemóvel quando ouvir sons de chamada em espera. •• Para mudar entre a chamada actual e a chamada retida, prima sem soltar a tecla Talk (falar).
