Using Disc Menu Using the Title Menu You can use the menus for the audio language, subtitle language, profile, etc. DVD menu contents differ from disc to disc. For DVDs containing multiple titles, you can view the title of each movie. Depending on the disc, the availability of this feature may vary. Adjusting the TV Aspect Ratio (Screen Size) The horizontal to vertical screen size ratio of conventional TVs is 4:3, while that of wide screen and high definition TVs is 16:9. This ratio is called the aspect ratio.

Setting the Wallpaper JPEG DVD While watching a DVD or JPEG CD, you can set the image you like as background wallpaper. Dolby Pro Logic II Mode Dolby Pro Logic II Effect This function works only in Dolby Pro Logic MUSIC mode. You can select the desired Dolby Pro Logic II audio mode. Auto Sound Calibration By setting the ASC function just once, the speaker distance, channel level and rear sound reflection effect are automatically set and create an optimal listening environment. • This function works only in DVD/CD function. • If you install the speaker as the RRSS speaker, make sure to install the rear speaker toward the side wall so that rear speaker sounds of the front/rear speaker (left/right) are reflected against the wall. 1 Connect the ASC Microphone to ASC input connector.
1 RRSS (Rear Reflecting Surround System) Setting SDSM (Super Digital Sound Master) Setting Select the RRSS mode for sound similar to 5.1 channel sound when rear speakers are used in the front as reflectors.
