• Input languages
: Enable/disable keypad input languages. When
enabled, languages can be changed by touching and sliding across
the keypad spacebar. (Available languages:

: When enabled, lists words that include your key presses.
• XT9 advanced settings
: Lets you enable those XT9 features you
want to use and disable those you don’t want to use.
• Keypad sweeping
: When enabled, lets you select text entry modes
by sweeping across the Samsung keypad.
• Auto-capitalization
: When enabled, automatically capitalizes the
first letter of the first word in a sentence.
• Voice input
: When enabled, lets you enter text by speaking.
• Auto-full stop
: When enabled, automatically places a period (.) at
the end of a line of text when you press the space bar twice.

Device keyboard settings let you enable or disable automatic
word replacement, automatic capitalization, and automatic
punctuation for your phone’s retractable QWERTY keyboard.

: Select your preferred spoken language from the list.

you want Voice recognition to monitor your speech for explicit

: Omits offensive words from your
searches.
• Show hints
: Possible searches predicted from your spoken words
appear in the search box.
