News Widget
You can use your TV to see the latest News on various topics.
Use the ▲ and ▼ buttons to move between the different types of news and select
the topic.
Navigate using the ▲ and ▼ buttons and press ENTER on the selected news item
to read the full text.
Navigate using the ▲ and ▼ buttons to read the complete news item. Press
RETURN to return to the previous menu.
Widget Ticker
The Ticker widget combines the News and Weather Forecast functions for various cities.
With this widget, the normal TV programming remains on screen, enabling users to continue watching their favourite programmes
while benefiting from this additional TV facility.
When you open Ticker, the news headlines initially appear at the bottom of the
screen.
When you press ENTER the news item fills the entire screen.
Pressing the ◄ and ► buttons changes the news item.
To return to normal mode, press RETURN.
If you are in normal news mode, pressing the ◄ and ► buttons switches to the
Ticker weather forecast.
By pressing the red button, the options screen enables you to configure Ticker.
Service: Selects the type of Ticker, Weather or News service. If you are in Weather,
you can also select Favourite Cities.
Position: Sets the Ticker at the top or bottom of the screen.
Transparency: Controls how transparent the Ticker is in relation to the background
image.
The Ticker and Weather Forecast widgets share the list of Favourite Cities.
