3D Surround Function
User EQ Setting Function allows you to control tones of
music.
Press Manual EQ/Enter button on the front panel.
Result
: USER EQ is displayed, and the part to be controlled flashes.
Using the Moving Jog knob, select a tone that you want. Then,
press the Manual EQ/Enter button.
Result
: Pre-set part stops flashing, and the part to be controlled
next starts to flash.
Repeat the procedures of above 1 and 2 to control tones of music.
When USER 1 is displayed, select a USER EQ number using the
Moving Jog knob. Then, press the Manual EQ/Enter button.
Result
: USER X flashes a few seconds, and all procedures are com-
pleted. ( X = USER EQ number)
Repeat above procedures 1 to 3 to setup up to three USER EQs.
Your mini-compact system is equipped with a preset equalizer
that allows you to choose the most appropriate balance
between treble and bass frequencies, according to the type
of music you are listening to.
Press EQ on the front panel until the required option is selected.
Equalizer mode
PASS Normal balance (linear)
POP Balance suitable for pop music
ROCK Balance suitable for rock music
CLASSIC Balance suitable for classic music

This model provides 3D Surround modes so that you can
enjoy virtually original sound.
Press 3D Surround on the front panel until the required option
is selected. Each time the 3D Surround button is pressed,
“HALL(Concert hall mood), LIVE(Live house sound), MOVIE
(Cinema mood), OFF” are selected in this order.
Press SOUND MODE on the remote control until the required
option is selected. Each time the SOUND MODE button is
pressed in sequence, the equalizer modes, 3D Surround
modes and Power Surround modes “PASS, POP, ROCK, CLAS-
SIC, USER 1, USER 2, USER 3, HALL, LIVE, MOVIE, POWER
SOUND, POWER SURROUND” are selected in this order.
