SETTING THE TIME Depending on the model that you have purchased, you are supplied with several accessories that can be used in a variety of ways. Your microwave oven has an inbuilt clock. SETTING COOKING TIMES & POWER LEVELS MULTI-STAGE COOKING Your microwave allows you to set up to two different stages of cooking, each with its own time length and power level. Arcing can occur if the foil is too close to the oven wall or if too much foil is used. Do not preheat for more than 8 minutes. Porcelain, pottery, glazed earthenware and bone china are usually suitable, unless decorated with a metal trim. Some frozen foods are packaged in these dishes.
