Where to Install Your Micro-Compact System Inserting Remote Control Batteries ENG To take full advantage of your new micro-compact system, follow these installation instructions before connecting the unit. Install the system on a flat, stable surface. Never place this unit on carpeting. Never place this unit in an outdoor area. Connecting to an External Source Connecting the FM Aerial ENG The auxiliary input can be used to take advantage of the sound quality of your micro-compact system when listening to other sources. Examples: A television A DVD player A VCR To connect to the external source, the source must have an audio output. DEMO/DIMMER function Setting the Clock ENG All functions available on the system can be viewed on the display and the display's brightness can be switched between "on" and "off". 1 Press the DEMO button.
