Voice Services
䡲 The phone opens the selected menu.
䡲 If the list is too long to fit on one screen, you can
say the name of a destination.
䡲 Examples can include: Alarm Clock, Amazon
MP3, Bejeweled Demo, Browser, Calculator,
Calendar, Camcorder, Camera, etc.
3. Say the name of the application you want the
device to activate.
Checking Phone Status Using ASR
You can use ASR to obtain information about your
phone:
䢇 Status
䢇 Voicemail
䢇 Messages
䢇 Missed Calls
䢇 Time
䢇 Signal Strength
䢇 Network
䢇 Battery
䢇 My Phone Number
䢇 Volume
1. Press and hold . You then hear a prompt.
2. When you hear “Say a command,” say “Check.”
3. If you hear “Which status item?,” say an item.
ASR Options
To change ASR confirmation:
1. Press and hold . You then hear a prompt.
2. Press and tap Settings > Confirmation and
select an option.
䡲 Automatic to ask for confirmation only when the
system is not sure what you said.
䡲 Always Confirm to always ask for confirmation.
䡲 Never Confirm to never ask for confirmation.
Tip: Tap and scroll through the onscreen list to reveal more
options.
