Check before installing another operating system such as Windows XP
ToremoveWindowsVista,thedefaultoperatingsystemof
thiscomputer,andtoinstalladifferentoperatingsystem
suchasWindowsXP,youneedtochangetheSETUP
settingsrst.
SettheAHCIiteminSETUPtoDisabledbeforeinstalling
anotheroperatingsystem.
Caution
Ifaproblemoccursbecauseoftheinstallationof
anotheroperatingsystem,thecompanywillnot
providetechnicalsupport,areplacementorrefund,
andifourserviceengineervisitsyouduetothis
problem,aservicechargewillbeapplied.
Note
Restrictions
IntelTurboMemoryisonlysupportedforWindows
Vista.Thisfunctionisnotavailableforanyother
operatingsystem.

Turn the computer on and press the F2keywhenthe
bootingscreen(SAMSUNGlogo)appears.

 Afteramoment,theSETUPscreenappears.Enter
the AdvancedmenuinSETUP.

 MovetotheAHCI Mode Control item and press
Enter.

 SelectDisabled and press Enter.

Enter the Exitmenu,movetoExit Saving Changes
and press Enter.

 WhentheSave conguration changes and exit
now? messageappears,selectYes and press
Enter.
Nowyouwillbeabletoinstalladifferentoperating
system.
