The Windows Firewall setting according to the
network location
(for the Windows 7 operating system only)
A Windows 7 allows different Windows rewall
settings for each network location.
The following network locations are available:
Home Network, Company Network and Common
Network. You can determine whether to use the
Windows Firewall and select a rewall security
setting for each location.
z If the network setting window appears in Windows 7
after setting up the IP address, select a location.
x Click Start > Control Panel > System and
Security > Windows Firewall > Activate or
Deactivate Windows Firewall.
c Set up a rewall for the Home and Company
(Private) Network Location Settings and the
Common Network Location Settings, and click
the OK button.

What Is Virtual XP?
(For Windows 7 only)
A Virtual XP refers to a virtual operating system
that allows you to run Windows XP virtually in the
Windows 7 environment. By using Virtual XP, you
can use applications that do not run on Windows 7.
Requirements for Running Virtual XP
z Virtual XP is only available on these three operating
systems: Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and
Enterprise.
x The memory must be 2 GB or more and the
virtualization function of the BIOS must exist and be
activated by the CPU.

What are the restrictions of Windows 7 Starter?
A z The DualView function is not supported when an
external display device is connected.
x The Aero function of Windows 7 is not supported.
c The Set as Background function to change the
wallpaper of the Desktop is not supported.
v Functions that are not supported by the operating
system, may also not be supported by related
programs such as Easy Display Manager, the
graphics driver and so on.
