2.3.5.2 MGI64
The MGI64 module transmits and receives voice via the data network after converting it
into data. The MGI64 is provided with up to 64 channels and decompresses voice using
G.729, G.723, G.726 and G.711. The MGI64 provides the VoIP functions to serve as both
client and server.
Main Functions
The main functions of the MGI64 voice application module are as follows:
y Voice decompression: G.729, G.723, G.726, G.711
y Facsimile relay: One channel per 4 channels
y Echo cancellation
y Volume adjustment
y Silence suppression
