IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
If a television is no t positioned in a sufficiently stable location, it can
be potentially hazardous due to falling. Many inj uries, particularly to
chi ldren, c
an be avoided by taking simple precaut io ns such as:
Placing t he television on a platform, stand, cabinet, table or ot her
sur f ace wh ich is:
-recom mended by Sa m sun g or sold wi th the product;
- secure and stable;
-su fficiently wider in t he base than t he base measurement of the
television;
- strong and large enough to support the size and weight of the
television.
Positioning the television close to t he wall to avoid the poss ibility of
the television falling when pushed.

Following the instructions for wall mounting in the installation manual
and using the mounting equipment supplied

9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or groundi ng -

ug. A po larized plug has two blades with one wider than t he
other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong.
The wide blade or the third prong are provided for you r
safety. If the provided plug does not fit i
nto your outlet, consult an
electrici an fo r replacement of the obsolet e outlet.

be done by using sturdy brackets, safety straps or mounts that are
made sp
ec ifica ll y for flat screen televisions.
Not placing any material between the television and the furmture
on
which it is pl ace d.
If the
furniture on whi ch the television is placed has drawer s, cab inets
or shel
ves under the television, taking steps to prevent ch ildren from
climbing, such
as installing safety latches so the doors can n ot be
opened.
Keeping pets away from the television.
Educating children about the dangers
of climbmg on furn1ture to
reach the television or its control.
Failure
to take these safety precautions may cause the tele vision to
fall from the stand or mounting equipment, causing damage or
serious injury .

Ventilation
Do no t place the apparatus in a rack or bookcase. Ensure that there
is adequate ventilation and t hat you've followed that manufacturer's
instructions for mounting
an d installation.
Wiring the Mains Power Supply Plug (UK Only}
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The mains lead on this equipment is supplied with a moulded plug incorporat ing a fuse. The value of the fuse is indicated on the pin f ace of the
plug and, if it requires replacing, a fuse approved to BSI1362 of the same rating must
be used.
Never use the plug wit h t
he fuse cover omit t ed if the cover is detachable. If a replacement fuse cover is required, it must be of t he same co lour
as t he pin face of the plug. Replacement covers are ava ilable from your dealer.
If the
fitted plug is not suita ble for the power points in your house or the cab le is not long enough t o reac h a power point, you should obtain a
sui table safety approved extension lead or consu lt your dealer for assistan ce . However, if there is no alternative but to cut off the plug, remove
the fuse and then safely dispose
of the plug.
Do NOT connect the plug to a mains socket as there is a ris k of shock h aza rd from the bared flexible cord.

The wires in the mains l ead are co loured in accordance with t he following code:

As these co lou rs may not correspond to the colour ed markings identifying t he terminals in yo ur plug, proceed as follows:
The wire co loured BL UE must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter Nor coloured BLUE or BLAC K. T he wire co loured BROWN
must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter Lor coloured BR OWN or RED.
