IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
If a television is not positioned in a sufficiently stable lo ca tion, it can
be poten ti ally hazardous due to fa lling. Many injuri es , particularly to
children,
can be avoided by taking simple precautions such as :
Placing the television
on a platform, stand, cabinet, table or other
surface which i
s:
- re commended by Samsung or sold with t he product;
-s ecure and stable;
-suf f ic iently wider in the base than the base measurement of the
te levision;
-s t rong a nd la rge enough to support the size and weight of the
television.
Positioning the television close
to the wall to avoid the possibility of
t he television fa ll ing when pushed.
Ensuring your telev
is ion is installed by an authorized Samsung
installer.
Following the instructions for wall mounting in
th e installation manual
and using the
mount i ng equipment supplied by Samsung.
Placi
ng the television toward the back of the furni tu re or surface on
which it is placed.
Ensuring
that the television does not hang over the edge of the
fu rniture or surface on which it is place d.
Important Safety Instructions (UL Only)

prong. The wide blade
or the th ird prong are provided for your
sa fety. If the provided plug does not f it into your outlet, co nsu lt an
electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.
10 . Protect the power cord from being walked on or pin ch ed
particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where
they exit from the apparatus.
11 . Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
Not hanging anything from
or on the television.
Anchoring both the television and the furnitu
re on which it is placed
to a suitable su pport especially in the case of tall furnit u re, suc h as
cupboards or bookcases which exceed one metre in height. This ca n
be done
by using sturdy b ra ckets, sa fety straps or mounts that are
made specifically for
flat screen te levision s.
Not placing any material between the te levision and the furniture on
which it is placed.
If the furniture
on which the television is placed has drawers, cabinets
or shelves under the te levision, taking steps to prevent chi ldren from
climbing, such
as installing sa fety latches so the doors cannot be
open
ed .
Keeping pets away from the
te levision.
Educating children about t
he dangers of climbing on furniture to
reach the telev is ion or its control.
Failure to take these safety precautions may cause the television to
fall from the stand or mounting equipment , causing damage or
serious injury .

Use only wit h cart, stand, tripod, bracket, (I
or table specified by the manufactur er, or

Ventilation
Do not p la ce the apparatus in a rack or book case. Ensure that there
is adequate ventilation and that you've fo llowed t hat manufacturer's
instructions for mounting and in stallation.
Wiring the Mains Power Supply Plug (UK Only)
IMPORTANT NOTICE
The mains lead on this equipment is supplied with a moulded plug incorporat ing a f use. The value of the fuse is indicated on the pin face of the
plug and,
if it requires replacing, a fu se approved to BSI1362 of the same ra ti ng must be used.
Never
use t he pl ug with the f use co ver omitted if the cover is detacha ble. If a re p la ceme nt fuse cover is requi re d, it must be of the same co l ou r
as the pin face of the plug. Replacement covers are available from your dealer.
If the fitted plug
is not suitable for th e power points in your house or the cable is not long enough to re ach a power point, y ou should obtain a
suitable safe
ty approved extension le ad or consult your dealer for assistance. Howe ve r, if there is no alternative bu t to cut off the plug, remo ve
t he fuse and then safely dispose of the plug.

As these colours may no t correspond to the coloured markings identi fy ing the terminals in your plug, proc ee d as fo llows:
The wire coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal marked with the let ter Nor coloured BLUE or BLAC K. The wire coloured BROWN
must be connected to the terminal marked with the letter Lor coloured BROWN or RED.
