Device Search
Device Search
is an easy way to locate items on your phone. After
searching, touch a search result to go directly to the content.
Tip:
Device Search can only find items stored in your phone’s memory. To
find items on an optional installed memory card, see “File Viewer” on
page 114.
1. From a Home screen, touch
Menu

Settings &
Tools
➔
Tools

Device Search

2. Enter up to 12 characters as
criteria for searching.
3. To narrow your search to a
specific kind of item, choose
from the drop-down list:
•Contacts
• Recent Calls
•Calendar
•Message
•Music
•Image
•Video
•Menu
4. Touch
to start searching. Results display on the
screen.
5. Touch any search result to go to the item or launch the
application or feature.
