Troubleshooting Pannes
✤ Before contacting a Samsung authorized service center, perform
the following simple checks.
They may save you the time and expense of an unnecessary call.

Moisture Condensation
✤ If the camcorder is brought directly from a cold place to a
warm place, moisture may condense inside the camcorder,
on the surface of the tape, or on the lens. In this condition, the
tape may stick to the head drum and be damaged or the unit
may not operate correctly.
To prevent possible damage under these circumstances, the
camcorder is fitted with a moisture sensor.
✤ If there is moisture inside the camcorder, (DEW) is
displayed. If this happens, none of the functions except
cassette ejection will work. Open the cassette compartment
and remove the battery pack. Leave the camcorder for at least
two hours in a dry warm room.

✤ Avant de contacter un service d’entretien, effectuez les
vérifications simples suivantes.
Elles peuvent vous épargner le temps et l’argent d’un appel inutile.

Buée
✤ Lorsque le caméscope passe directement d'un lieu froid à un
lieu chaud, de la buée peut se former à l'intérieur, à la surface
de la bande ou sur l’objectif. Dans cette condition, la bande
risque de coller au tambour vidéo et d’être endommagée ou le
caméscope peut ne pas fonctionner correctement.
Afin d’éviter des dommages éventuels dans ces circonstances,
le caméscope est équipé d’un détecteur d’humidité.
✤ Si l’intérieur du caméscope est humide, (DEW) <(BUEE)>
s’affiche. Le cas échéant, aucune des fonctions hormis l’éjection
de la cassette, ne fonctionne.
Ouvrez le compartiment cassette et retirez la batterie.
Laissez le caméscope pendant au minimum deux heures dans
une pièce chauffée.
