Troubleshooting Pannes
✤ If these instructions do not solve your problem, contact your
nearest Samsung authorized service center.
You cannot switch the
camcorder on
START/STOP button
does not operate
while recording
The camcorder goes
off automatically.
The battery pack is
quickly exhausted.
When you see a blue
screen during
playback
Avertical stripe appears
on the screen when
recording a dark
background.
Auto focus does not
work.
Play, FF or REW
button does not work.
Check the battery pack or the AC Power Adapter.
Check the POWER switch is set to CAMERA.
You have reached the end of the cassette.
Check the record protection tab on the cassette.
You have left the camcorder set to STBY for more
than 5 minutes without using it.
The battery pack is fully exhausted.
The atmospheric temperature is too low.
The battery pack has not been charged fully.
The battery pack is completely dead, and cannot be
recharged, Use another battery pack.
The video heads may be dirty.
Clean the head with a cleaning tape.
The contrast between the subject and the background
is too great for the camcorder to operate normally.
Make the background bright to reduce the contrast or
use the BLC function while you are recording brighter.
The image in the
viewfinder is blurred.
The Viewfinder lens has not been adjusted.
Adjust the viewfinder control lever until the indicators
displayed on the viewfinder come into sharp focus.
Check the M.FOCUS menu.
Auto focus does not work in the Manual Focus mode.
Check the POWER switch. Set the power switch to
PLAYER.
You have reached the beginning or end of the
cassette.
When you see a
broken block image
during the REC
SEARCH.
This is normal operation and is not a failure or defect.

Vous ne parvenez pas à
allumer le caméscope.
Le bouton START/
STOP <DEPART/
ARRET> ne fonctionne
pas pendant
l’enregistrement.
Le caméscope s’éteint
automatiquement.
Le bloc-batterie se
décharge rapidement.
Un écran bleu apparaît
pendant la lecture.
Une bande verticale
apparaît à l’écran lors
de l’enregistrement
d’un fond sombre.
L’image dans le viseur
est floue.
La mise au point
automatique ne
fonctionne pas.
Le bouton, Play
<Lecture>, FF
<AVANCE RAPIDE>
ou REW <RETOUR>
ne fonctionne pas.
Une image en blocs
brisés apparaît pendant
la recherche
d’enregistrement.
Vérifiez le bloc-batterie ou l’adaptateur secteur CA.
Vérifiez si l’interrupteur d’alimentation est placé sur
CAMERA.
Vous avez atteint la fin de la cassette.
Vérifiez la languette de protection en écriture de la
cassette.
Vous avez laissé le caméscope en mode STBY
<VEILLE> pendant plus de 5 minutes sans l’utiliser.
Le bloc-batterie est complètement déchargé.
La température de l’air est trop basse.
Le bloc-batterie n’a pas été complètement chargé.
Le bloc-batterie est totalement inutilisable et ne peut pas
être rechargé. Utilisez un autre bloc-batterie.
Les têtes vidéo sont peut-être sales.
Nettoyez les têtes vidéo avec une cassette de nettoyage.
Le contraste entre le sujet et le fond est trop marqué pour
que le caméscope puisse fonctionner normalement.
Illuminez davantage le fond pour réduire le contraste ou
utilisez la fonction BLC <COMPENSATION DE
CONTRE-JOUR> pendant que vous effectuez un
enregistrement avec plus de luminosité.
L’objectif du viseur n’a pas été réglé.
Réglez la commande du viseur jusqu’à ce que les
voyants affichés dans le viseur soient nets.
Vérifiez le menu M.FOCUS <MISE AU POINT
MANUELLE>.
La mise au point automatique ne fonctionne pas en mode
MANUAL FOCUS <MISE AU POINT MANUELLE>.
Vérifiez l’interrupteur d’alimentation. Placez l’interrupteur
d’alimentation sur PLAYER <LECTEUR>.
Vous avez atteint le début ou la fin de la cassette.
Il s’agit du fonctionnement normal de l’appareil, et non
d’une panne ou d’un défaut.
