✤ Vous pouvez utiliser les fonctions MEMORY FORMAT <FORMATAGE
MEMOIRE> pour supprimer complètement l’ensemble des images et
des options du Memory Stick, y compris les images protégées.
✤ La fonction FORMAT <FORMATER> replace le Memory Stick dans
son état initial.
✤ Le Memory Stick fourni avec le caméscope est préformaté.
Attention
✤ Si vous exécutez la fonction MEMORY FORMAT <FORMATAGE
MEMOIRE>, toutes les images seront complètement effacées et
les images effacées sont irrécupérables.
1. Placez le sélecteur de mode sur MEMORY STICK.
2. Placez l’interrupteur d’alimentation en mode PLAYER <LECTEUR>.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
4. Déplacez le MENU SELECTOR <SELECTEUR DE MENU> de
manière à surligner MEMORY <MEMOIRE> et appuyez sur le MENU
SELECTOR <SELECTEUR DE MENU>.

Le sous-menu apparaît.
5. Sélectionnez FORMAT <FORMATER> dans la liste et appuyez sur le
MENU SELECTOR <SELECTEUR DE MENU>.
6. “ALL FILES ARE DELETED! FORMAT REALLY?” <“TOUS LES
FICHIERS SERONT SUPPRIMES ! ETES-VOUS SUR DE VOULOIR
FORMATER?”> apparaît à l’écran.
7. A l’aide du MENU SELECTOR <SELECTEUR DE MENU>,
sélectionnez l’élément.

NO <NON>: Pour revenir au menu précédent
■
YES <OUI>: Pour démarrer le formatage.
8. Appuyez sur le MENU SELECTOR <SELECTEUR DE MENU>.
9. Pour sortir du menu, appuyez sur le bouton MENU.
Remarques
■
La carte “Memory Stick” formatée sur le PC avec la carte USB
(non fournie) ne présente aucune garantie de compatibilité avec ce
caméscope. Si vous souhaitez formater la carte Memory Stick sur le
PC, utilisez le “Memory Stick formatter” (Formateur Memory Stick)
fourni avec le CD du logiciel.

✤ You can use the MEMORY FORMAT functions to completely delete all
images and options on the Memory Stick,
including protected images.
✤ The format function restores the Memory Stick to its initial states.
✤ The Memory Stick supplied with this camcorder has been formatted
already.
Attention
✤ If you execute the MEMORY FORMAT function, all images will be
erased completely and erased images cannot be recovered.
1. Set the mode switch to MEMORY STICK.
2. Set the power switch to PLAYER mode
3. Press the MENU button.
4. Move the MENU SELECTOR to highlight MEMORY and
push the MENU SELECTOR.

The sub menu will appear.
5. Select FORMAT from the list and push the MENU SELECTOR.
6. “ALL FILES ARE DELETED! FORMAT REALLY?” appears on the
screen.
7. Using the MENU SELECTOR, select the item.

NO : To return to previous menu
■
YES : To start formatting.
8. Push the MENU SELECTOR.
9. To exit the menu, press the MENU button.
Note
■
“Memory Stick” formatted on the PC with the USB adaptor (not
supplied) do not have a guaranteed compatibility with this camcorder.
If you want to format the Memory Stick on the PC, use the “Memory
Stick formatter” supplied with the software CD.
