Entering Text
To enter English words in a text input field, change the
input mode to A (upper-case)or a (lower-case) by
pressing the key.
Press the keys labeled with the required letter:
-Once for the first letter
-Twice for the second letter
-And so on.
For example, press the 2 key three times to display the
letter “C” and the 5 key two times to display the letter
“K”.
The cursor moves to the right when you press a
different key. When entering the same letter twice or a
different letter on the same key, just wait for a few
seconds for the cursor to automatically move to the
right, and then enter the next letter.
To enter symbols change the input mode to .
Press or to display more symbols sets.
Press or to select the symbol you want to insert
and press . To exit the mode, press the key.
Using the Menu
The phone offers a range of functions that allow you to tailor
the phone to your needs. These functions are arranged in
menus and sub-menus.
Example: Changing the display language to English
1. In the standby mode, press the key to access the
menu mode.
2. Press the key to enter the My Phone menu.
3. Scroll with the or key to reach

4. Press the key to enter the menu.
5. Scroll with the or key to highlight English.
6. Pressing the key.
You can also use the index number to access the Language
menu function; press the key for the main menu mode
for the My Phone menu, the 6 key for

Menu Functions
My Phone (the key + the key)
1. Start Menu: You can set up the start menu by
registering or deleting menu functions.

2. Menu Screen: You can change the display style of the
menu mode.

3. My Name: You can enter your name to be displayed on
the idle screen.
4. Text Slide: You can enter a greeting message to on
displayed on the screen.
5. Number Size: You can change the size of the number
to be displayed when you enter a phone number to dial.

Language: You can change the display language.
7. Select Clock: You can change the type of the clock to
be displayed on the external LCD in the standby mode.

1. Find Number: You can find the entries stored in the
phonebook using location numbers, names, numbers,
group names, or order of registration.

2. Outgoing Call: You can view the records of up to 30
of the last phone calls placed from your phone.
3. Incoming Call: You can view the records of up to 30
of the last phone calls placed to your phone.
4. Missed Call: You can view the records of up to 30 of
the last phone calls you received but did not answer.
5. Store Number: You can add a new name entry. For
details about storing a number, see page 183. You can
store up to 1,000 names or 2,400 items in your
Phonebook.
