Section 9: Settings
This section explains the settings used for customizing your
device. If settings are described in another section of this
user manual, then a cross reference to that description is
provided.
Accessing Settings
1. From a Home screen, touch Apps Settings.
– or –
From a Home screen, touch
Menu
Settings.
– or –
From any screen, touch the top of the screen and
swipe downward, to display the Notification Panel, and
then touch
Settings.
The Settings screen displays.
The Settings Screen
There are five major groups of settings: Wireless and
networks, Device, Personal, Accounts, and System.
Some options are enabled or disabled by touching the
ON/OFF button to turn the option ON
or OFF .
For some options, you must touch the field, such as Wi-Fi, t
o
display and set more options.
Some options are enabled or disabled by to
uching a check
box. When enabled, a
check mark displays. Touch the
check mark to remove it and disable the option.
