Section 12: Settings
This section explains how to configure your phone’s language,
network preferences, security options, and other settings.
Location
Use the
Location
setting to specify whether your phone passes your
Global Positioning System (GPS) location to the network continually,
or only when you make an emergency (911) call.
Note:
Check with your Wireless Carrier to determine if/when/where location-
based services are available.

Sounds Settings
Sounds Settings let you customize your phone’s audio properties,
such as ring tones, keypad tones, alerts, start up melody, and more.

Settings.The following options and sub-menus are available:
•Master Volume
— Set the default volume for all sounds produced by
your phone.
• Call Sounds
— Set the default Call Ringtone and enable/disable Call
Vibrate and Caller ID Readout,
• Alert Sounds
— Set tones for Text Messages, Multimedia Messages,
Voicemail, Missed Calls, and Device Connect notifications.
