Manual Pause Calling
When you call automated systems (like banking services), you
are often required to enter a password or account number.
Instead of manually entering the numbers each time, you can
store the numbers in your Contacts along with special characters
called pauses.
T Pause
— A two-second pause stops the calling sequence for two
seconds and then automatically sends the remaining digits.
P Pause
— A hard pause stops the calling sequence until you press
.
To manually call a number with pause(s) without storing it to your
Contacts:
1. In standby mode, press the
Dialer
soft key. The touch
keypad screen appears in the display.
2. Enter the number you wish to call.
3. Press the Add Pause soft key.
A pop-up menu containing the following options appears in
the display:
T Pause
— a two-second pause.
P Pause
— a hard pause (awaits input from you).
Tip:
You can create pauses longer than two seconds by entering multiple T
Pauses.
4. Select the desired pause option. The respective letter (T or
P) is added to your number entry.
5. Press or the
Voice Call
soft key to call the number.
Making a Call — Contact
Dialing
You can store phone numbers and
contact names in your phone’s
Contacts list. To call one of your
contacts, do the following:
1. In standby mode, press the
Dialer
soft key. The touch
keypad screen appears in the
display.
2. Press the Contacts button
( ). The
Contacts
list
appears in the display.
3. Select the desired Contacts entry’s radio button. A blue dot
appears in the button.
