Once your phone is on, it automatically enters standby mode – the phone’s standby mode. At this point, you are ready to begin making and receiving calls. If your phone is unable to find a signal after 15 minutes of searching, the Power Save mode is automatically activated. When a signal is found, your phone automatically returns to standby mode.

Make sure the power is off so that you don’t lose any stored numbers or messages. 2. To remove the cover plate, push on the thumb tab and slide the cover plate away from the handset. • To remove the battery, pull the top of the battery away from the phone (1) and disconnect it (2).
