Using the touch pad

You can use the touch pad when you input English

or Chinese character(s). This touch pad is used to

input English or Chinese characters, numbers, or

symbols, to name of phonebook entry or photo, or

in a memo, To do list item, or URL address. This is

also where you enter words that you are looking up

in a dictionary.

To write on the touch pad:

1. Slide the stylus pen out of its storage slot.

2. Write directly on the touch pad with the stylus

pen.

You will see another input window showing what

you have written.

3. When you have finished writing, lift the stylus

pen form the touch pad surface.

Note

: depending on your input mode, the drawing

displayed on the touch pad input window will be

converted into the appropriate characters. See the

table below.
