Menu functions
Applying daylight saving time
1. From the world map, press < Options > and select
Apply daylight saving time .
2. Press [ ] to select the time zones you want.
3. Press < Save >.
Calculator (Menu 7.5)
Use this menu to perform basic arithmetic functions
such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and
division.
1. Enter the first number.
•Press [ ] to insert a decimal point.
•Press [ ] to insert a bracket.
•Press [/ ] to move the cursor.
•Press < Options > to use additional arithmetic
functions or switch to the Converter screen.
2. Enter the operation for your calculation by pressing
the Navigation keys.
3. Enter the second number.
4. Press [ ] to view the result.
5. If necessary, repeat from step 2 to continue the
calculation.
Converter (Menu 7.6)
Use this menu for common conversions, such as
currency and temperature.
Performing a conversion
1. Select the converter type you want.
2. Press [Left] or [Right] to select the original unit
and press [Down].
3. Enter the value to be converted and press [Down].
•Press [ ] to insert a decimal point.
•Press [ ] to change the temperature to above
zero (+) or below zero (-).
4. Press [Left] or [Right] to select the unit to which
you want to convert.
The equivalent value for the amount you entered
displays.
