Access menu functions
Enter text
Select an
option
1. Tap a desired indicator with your
finger.
2. Tap the left or right arrow to scroll
left or right.
Tap and drag the scroll bar to scroll
up or down.
3. Tap a displayed option or function.
4. Tap to move up one level.
Press [ ] to return to Idle mode.
Change the
text input
mode
1. In the text entry screen, tap the
current field.
2. Tap Eng and select the mode you
want.
Tap 123 or SYM to switch to
Number or Symbol mode.
Phrasal
Pinyin mode
To enter a word:
1. Tap the appropriate alphanumeric
keys to enter pinyins. A box with
pinyins appears on the display.
2. Tap the left or right arrow in the box
to scroll to a pinyin.
3. Tap . A number appears by each
character.
4. Tap an alphanumeric key to enter
the corresponding character.
