contacts, Favorites, or Custom. Allowed contacts will
then appear in the
Allowed contact list

Hands-Free Mode
When this feature is activated, all incoming calls and new
notifications are automatically read out loud.
1. From a Home screen, tap

2. In a single motion touch and slide t he
Hand-free mode
slider to the right to turn it on.
Confirm the Driving mode active icon appears in
the Status bar.
3. Select the following options:
• Incoming call
: Read out the caller’s information.
• Messages
: Read out a new message when it is received.
• Alarm
: Read out alarm information when an alarm sounds.
• Calendar event info
: Read out event information when an
event alarm sounds.
Power Saving Mode
This feature allows you both automatically set the phone to
use a power saving mode and configure additional power
saving options manually, all in an effort to conserve battery
power.
1. From a Home screen, tap
Menu
, and then tap

2. In a single motion touch and slide the slider to the right
to turn it on.
3. Tap the following options to create a check mark and
conserve power:
• CPU power saving
: allows you to limit the maximum
performance of the CPU.
• Screen power saving
: allows you to lower the screen power
level.

various ways to conserve battery power.
When the power gets low, confirm
appears at the top of
the screen. This indicates the power saving mode is active.
