Ringtones Other Sounds
Select a default ringtone. Choose from preset
ringtones or add your own.
Choose notification alerts for new messages,
calendar events, and email.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings.

and then tap to configure each option:
3. Tap a ringtone to hear a preview and select it.

Dialing keypad tone: Play tone when the
dialing keypad is tapped.

Tap ADD to use an audio file as a ringtone.

Screen lock sounds: Play a sound when you
unlock the screen.
Vibrations
•
Touch sounds: Play tones when you touch or
tap the screen to make selections.
Choose from preset vibration patterns or create your
own pattern.
•
Sound when tapped: Play a sound when the
Samsung keyboard is tapped.

Settings.

Call: Configure call notifications.
2. Tap Sounds and notifications > Vibrations.

Messages: Configure message notifications
and alerts.
3. Tap a pattern to preview it, and then tap OK to
set it as your default vibration pattern.

Email: Configure email account notifications.

Calendar: Configure event notifications.
Tap CREATE and follow the prompts to create a
new vibration pattern.
Notification Ringtone
Choose a sound for notifications, such as for new
messages and event reminders.
1. From a Home screen, tap Apps >
Settings.
2. Tap Sounds and notifications >
Notificationringtone.
3. Tap a sound to hear a preview and select it.
