How to upgrade the software of SMT-S7800 from USB

October, 2012

Software upgrade allows you to update the system software to maintain the highest

performance of the product.

To update the software of SMT-S7800 from a USB, follow these steps.

Note: When recording is in progress you cannot use this functionality.

Please be careful not to disconnect the power or remove the USB drive until

the upgrade is completed.

1. Download the latest software from the menu “Support > Downloads” of the website

www.samsung.com/uk or from

http://www.samsung.com/uk/support/model/SMT-S7800/XEU-downloads .

2. Copy the file to the root directory of a USB memory stick without old versions of the

software.

3. Insert the USB into the USB port on the front of SMT-S7800. (Please refer to the page 8

of the SMT-S7800 User Guide.)

6. Select the [Search] button and press the OK button ( ) on the remote control. If new software is detected, updating the software will get started immediately. 7.
