Recommended shutter speed when recording:
i }60 The shutter speed is fixed at 1/60 second. Black bands that usually appear
when shooting a TV screen become narrower.
IThe shutter speed is fixed at 1/100 second. Indoor sports such as basketball.
!/! 00 The flickering that occurs when shooting under a florescent light or rnercury-
Ivapor lamp is reduced.
1/250, 1/500, !/1000 IMoving cars, trains or other rapidly moving w_hicles such as roller coasters.
1/2000, 1/4000, 1/10000 IOutdoor sports such as golf and tennis.
_• Do not aim at the sun. Doing so might cause camcorder to malfunction. Take images of the
your
sun only in low light conditions, such as at dusk.
• The image may not seem smooth when a high shutter speed is selected.
• A higher shutter speed is recommended for shooting a fast moving subject. Note that higher
shutter speeds produce a darker image. As the shutter speed increases, the sensor accepts
less light.
