If NIGHT mode is set to <Off>, the <White Balance> will operate in a mode specifi ed in DAY
mode at all times; otherwise, the screen will switch to a mode specifi ed in <Day/Night>.
White Balance may not work properly under the following conditions.
- When the color temperature of the environment surrounding the subject is out of the control
range.
- When the ambient illumination of the subject is dim.
- If the camera is directed towards a fl uorescent light or is installed in a place where illumination
changes dramatically, White Balance adjustments may not deliver consistent results.
To set the Exposure
The Exposure settings are to control the camera’s exposure meter.
IRIS Setting
Set the iris to either ALC or Manual.
ALC : You can set both iris level and
backlight in auto mode.
Manual : You can set the iris level
manually.
Select an iris level between -32 and 32.
If you set the iris mode to ALC, select an
iris level and set the backlight mode.
Select one from Off/BLC/WDR in backlight.
Off : Do not use the backlight mode.
BLC : You can specify a desired area on the video manually and set the area to
be displayed more clearly.
WDR : Display a sharp image of the objects in a scene where both bright and
dark areas exist.
If you set the backlight mode to BLC, you can configure the backlight settings.
If you set the backlight mode to WDR, configure the settings of WDR Weight, WDR
Level and WDR WB.
WDR Weight : Select one from Low/Middle/High.
WDR Level : Select one between -9 and 9.
WDR Auto W/B : Select either Indoor or Outdoor.
If you set the backlight mode to BLC, you can specify a backlight area.
