HDMI Audio Output Network Status Lets you check the current network and Internet status. Network Settings Caption The function is used for VOD playback that supports closed caption display. Networks and the Internet Support ||NOTES | \\ Remote Management service might not be available in some countries. \\ To use Remote Management: 1) Call the Samsung Contact Center and ask for remote support. 2) Open the player's menu on your TV and go to the Support section. 3) Select Remote Management, and then read and agree to the service agreements. Appendix Additional Information 07 Notes • For some 3D discs, to stop a movie during 3D playback, press the @ (STOP) button once. The movie stops and the 3D mode option is de-activated. Appendix PCM Downsampling • Even when PCM Downsampling is set to Off, some discs will only output downsampled audio through the optical digital output. • HDMI -- If your TV is not compatible with compressed multi-channel formats (Dolby Digital, DTS), the product may output PCM 2ch downmixed audio even though you selected Bitstream (either Reencoded or Unprocessed) in the setup menu. -- If your TV is not compatible with PCM sampling rates over 48kHz, the product will output at 48kHz.
Selecting the Audio Language • Depending on the Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc/Blu-ray Disc / DVD Disc, you may be able to change the subtitle language in the Disc Menu. Appendix PROBLEM BD-LIVE SOLUTION This product cannot connect to the BD-LIVE server. • Test whether the network connection is working using the Network Status function. (See page 21) • Check whether a USB memory device is connected to the product. • The memory device must have at least 1GB of free space to accommodate the BD-LIVE service.
