NOTE : If the “Dust-Full” indicator continues to display “RED” even after changing the dust bag, turn the cleaner off and check whether the hose, tube or nozzle is clogged.
DJ68-00079J 7/2/01 11:29 AM Page 6 ASSEMBLING THE VACUUM CLEANER FOR USE Attaching the Hose to the Canister Slide the Hose Clamper into the Canister lnlet until it “clicks” into place.(Fig. A-A) Assembling the Extension Wand Slide the narrow end of one Extension Wand section into the other Wand Extension.(Fig. AB)Depress the locking button with your thumb and continue sliding the Extensions together.Turn the Wands in opposite directions until the locking button snaps into the hole in the other Wand.

NOTE : When removing the power cord from the electrical outlet, grasp the plug, not the cord. ON/OFF SWITCH With the cord plugged into an electrical outlet, start or stop the vacuum cleaner by stepping lightly on the switch button.

Checking the Performance of the Power Brush You may check whether the power brush is operating correctly by lifting up the extension tube slightly to view the back of the brush. The Power Brush will not operate when it is jammed or the unit is turned off. If the Power Brush is jammed, Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. Turn power brush over and remove the jammed object.

L’embout est maintenant barré. (Fig. A-A) Assembler les tubes Glisser la partie étroite d’un tube dans l’autre. Appuyer sur le bouton barrure et continuer à insérer les tubes. Tourner un des tubes jusqu’à ce que le bouton se barre dans l’autre tube. (Fig. A-B).

NOTE : Lorsque vous débrancher l’appareil, il ne faut pas oublier de tenir fermement la fiche en tirant, ne pas débrancher en tenant la corde.

STATIONNEMENT DE L’ASPIRATEUR L’encoche pour le stationnement est situé à l’arrière (dessus) de l’aspirateur. Le support est situé à l’arrière du coude du balai. TRANSPORTER ET RANGEMENT DE L’ASPIRATEUR Pour un rangement et transport facile, l’aspirateur est muni d’une encoche sous l’aspirateur.

NOTE : Le sac est muni d’une languette adhésive pour couvrir le sac lorsque vous le retirer de l’aspirateur. ENTRETIEN ET REMPLACEMENT DES FILTRES 1. FILTRE PRÉ-MOTEUR - Ouvrir le couvert. - Après avoir retirer le filtre, lavez-le légèrement avec de l’eau, sécher dans un endroit sombre, et replacer le filtre. - Fermer le couvert.

VÉRIFIER LA PERFORMANCE DU BALAI ÉLECTRIQUE Vous pouvez vérifier la performance du balai électrique en soulevant les tubes vers le haut et regardant sous le balai. Le balai électrique ne fonctionnera pas si le rouleau est coincé ou si l’appareil est arrêté. Si le rouleau du balai est coincé, débrancher la corde du balai électrique.

Réinsérer le rouleau en vous assurant que les bouts du rouleau sont bien logés dans les encavures de la base. 2. Enlever la courroie plate de la tige du moteur et du rouleau. Replacer une nouvelle courroie autour du rouleau et de la tige du moteur. 4. Assurez-vous que la courroie n’est pas tordue.

Fitre, balai électrique, boyau obstrué, sac plein. Retirer ce qui obstru le passage d’air ou changer le sac. Corde ne se rebobine pas. Assurez-vous que la corde n’est pas tordu. Tirer 6-10pi. de corde et appuyer sur le bouton de l’enrouleur. FR-10 Vérifiez la corde d’alimentation, prise et fiche.
