If you saw that the lename “Data” is now written in RED, then you were correct. DEWESoft shows a
lename in RED here if this le already exists! So if you were to try and store again, DEWESoft would stop
and tell you that this le exists, and give you the chance to either overwrite it with new data, or enter a new
name.
To avoid this, check the Multile box, and then use the setup button that will appear to pre-congure how
DEWESoft will automatically name your les, like so:
The way it is set above, the base part of the lename will be Data, and each time you store data, DEWESoft
will add an underscore and then four digits, starting at zero. So you will get a series of data les called:
Data_0000.d7d
Data_0001.d7d
Data_0002.d7d
Data_0003.d7d
Data_0004.d7d
…
and so on.
